WEEK 4!

Our weekly beginners meeting and ASL chat will be this Monday, October 16 in HUB room 337.

Beginners meeting will be from 6-7 pm and the ASL chat will follow from 7-8 pm.

There is no ASL outing this week, but check our page for other ASL/Deaf Community events happening soon!

Autumn 2023 Schedule

Beginners Meetings: This quarter we will have a “beginners series” that starts from scratch at the beginning of the quarter and by the end works to build to a level of basic conversation in ASL! Meetings will be an hour long from 6-7pm in the HUB. This meeting is specifically for new and beginner signers wanting to learn ASL! If you are taking part, attend as many meetings as possible for the more effective learning! All PowerPoints and our vocab list from our beginner Meetings can be found here.

ASL Chats: Directly after our beginners meetings, from 7-8pm in the same HUB room we will have an hour of practicing ASL or playing ASL-related games. We will also have some lessons on deaf culture and ASL linguistics depending on the week! These meetings are for signers of all levels!

ASL Outings: Once every other week we will be switching it up and meeting at other places outside of the HUB to practice from 6-7:30pm. Some of our most popular ASL outings include ASL Boba Night, ASL Board Game Night, and ASL Dinners!
